Her journey began in 2008 with the launch of Mansion Models & Event Management, her Dubai-based agency, where she produced high-profile fashion shows, luxury weddings, and exclusive events for royal families, global corporations, and prestigious retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Harvey Nichols, Galeries Lafayette, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Her work was featured in leading publications across the Gulf region, including Harper’s Bazaar, Hello!, Bride, L’Officiel, and many others.

After relocating to New York, Sahel continued crafting exceptional experiences while working as a corporate flight attendant for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and global executives. Renowned for her impeccable taste and extraordinary attention to detail, she managed elite hospitality while also refurbishing private jets, sourcing bespoke interiors, and curating highly personalized experiences onboard. Her ability to anticipate needs and deliver flawless service became her hallmark.

One pivotal moment came when a longtime client entrusted her with planning an intimate fiftieth birthday celebration at her Hamptons estate a project that marked Sahel’s meaningful return to the world of event planning and design.

Yet the defining chapter of her journey unfolded during her own wedding in Tuscany. Nine months before the celebration, faced with a planner who fell short of expectations, Sahel made the bold decision to terminate the contract and take full control. She personally designed and executed a breathtaking three-day wedding experience that left guests in awe and reignited her lifelong passion for weddings and events.

Today, through Sahel Rothera Events, she curates bespoke weddings and gala experiences around the world from New York, Boston, and Los Angeles to Dubai and the heart of Italy and France. Specializing in multicultural celebrations, destination weddings, and highly personalized guest experiences, Sahel approaches every event with heartfelt dedication, authenticity, and timeless elegance.
