Mia and Peter Santa Cruz are a devoted wife and husband team, They specialize in authentically capturing the emotions of every event, couples session and wedding day. Employing a documentary style and creating stylishly editorial images, they cherish every moment, from the intimate to the grand. Committed to the beauty of genuine storytelling, they skillfully document the unfolding love throughout the day. They are based in New York but are ready to bring their expertise to destination weddings worldwide.
Mia holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College in Film Production and History. In her spare time, you might find her barefoot on the beach, camera in hand, enjoying a sunset with her son. She has been a photographer and digital designer for the past ten years, and her and her husband Peter have been Long Islanders their whole life! Peter joined Santa Cruz Photography late 2022 and has been an instrumental part of the team. You'll find him second shooting almost every wedding now with Mia and bringing tons of joy and fun to every shoot!
