About Sava Studio

Sava Studio was founded by Michael Marfione & Melissa Wahler - alums of the General Studies program at the International Center of Photography (ICP). After the discovery of their similar backgrounds, an exchange of some witty banter, and several cappuccinos later, Sava was born. We approach wedding photography a little differently than others, but ultimately that is what brought Sava to life. We knew after our experiences at ICP & in the art world, we wanted to have a more honest approach to wedding photography. Our training in the fine arts allows us to bring a different kind of sensitivity & humanity into our work.
