OUR FOUNDER 

Jordan McMills is a wedding designer, stylist, and experiential creative director based in New Orleans. Her point of view has been shaped by a lifelong love of the natural world, years spent working in hospitality, and an appreciation for vintage tableware, architecture, and art in all its forms.

As the founder of Soigné Styling, Jordan partners with couples, planners, and venues to cultivate a sense of place and tell immersive stories through design. She’s known for an ability to create rooms and vignettes that look both lived-in and beautifully composed, as well as her gift for sourcing one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. 

Jordan’s work has been featured in and recognized by Loverly, Southern Bride, Perfête, New Orleans Bride, and inRegister Weddings, among others. She has partnered with historic New Orleans venues such as The Celestine and Hotel Peter & Paul for styling, creative direction, and editorials.

OUR STORY

Soigné Styling is a design house founded on the principle that thoughtfully designed moments and spaces give us room to slow down and savor emotional moments. We’re seekers of beauty in everything we do.

We see design and styling as a means to tell stories, evoke emotions, and shape the experience that guests have within a space.

Whether we’re working with a couple, a planner, or an event venue, our work is governed by restraint, cohesion, and emotional resonance. Rather than introduce visual noise, we exercise discipline as we tell stories and structure the flow of an event.

Our name comes from the French word “soigné,” which means carefully and elegantly done, with attention to detail. Already considered. Already done with care.

WHAT WE DO

Soigné Styling’s work can take several shapes:

• Wedding Design: We serve as a creative consultant for weddings, guiding couples through the aesthetic decisions and providing their vendor team with a design plan to execute.

• The Wedding Prep Ritual: We transform “getting ready” from a to-do list item into a beautifully styled, calming experience that sets the tone for the wedding day.

• Hospitality & Venue Experience Design: Wedding venues & boutique hotels engage us to enhance their sense of place, create surprise-and-delight moments for guests, and hone the story that their property aims to tell.

• Brand and Editorial Styling: We partner with photographers, brands, and vendors to ensure that their editorials and campaigns are visually cohesive and thoughtfully composed.
