About Vivi Lin Photography

My name is “Vivi”, and I am a full-time wedding photographer based in San Francisco, CA. 

I was born in China and have studied in South Korea and the United States. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Shenzhen University's Japanese Department in 2012, and obtained my Master's degree in Korean language education from Seoul National University in 2016. During my time in South Korea, I began documenting my daily life through photography and discovered my passion for it. Determined to pursue my dreams and become a professional photographer, I enrolled in the Photography program at the Academy of Art University, where I earned my MFA degree in 2020.

While studying in the United States, I actively participated in various international competitions such as WPPI, Asiawpa, WPE, and IPC, as well as obtaining the professional qualification of photographers (MPA). With fluency in multiple languages including Chinese, Cantonese, English, Korean and Japanese, I can effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. My extensive experience living in different countries has provided me with a global perspective, which greatly influences my work.
