About Your Event By Erin

Erin is known for her meticulous eye for event design, incorporating creative personal touches and her ability to bring to life her client’s vision with poise, personality and organization. It’s the brainstorming sessions, design discussions, personal connections, the vendor relationships, and the event day excitement that drives her business.

After graduating from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business with a degree in Marketing, Erin began pursuing her career in event planning. Passion for entertaining and planning started at an early age and over the years this passion, paired with experience in corporate meeting and event coordinating, evolved into Your Event by Erin in 2008! Erin prides herself in working behind the scenes efficiently and passionately to create the perfect event where every guest has a wonderful time and the host is showered with compliments.

Erin, born and raised in sunny San Diego, now resides in beautiful Walnut Creek, CA with her husband Jake and their feisty little cat.

Erin now calls Northern California home and continues to plan beautiful events throughout the West Coast. Erin loves to entertain and cook for family and friends … a huge fan of Ina Garten! Fun fact: Jake secretly invited Ina and Jeffery to their wedding! While Ina and Jeffery regretfully declined ;) Ina wrote a very nice hand written letter to Erin and Jake wishing them all the best on their wedding day and a beautiful life ahead together! Erin also enjoys gardening, hiking, exploring cute little towns and farmer’s markets, quality time with family and friends, wine tasting in Napa Valley, beach side cocktails in San Diego & Maui and playing golf occasionally when the weather is just right!
