Set on the second floor of Building 5 in the industrial-chic complex, the venue is 10,000 square feet with waterfront views and sightlines of the Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan. The space can accommodate up to 400 people. Views are framed by floor to ceiling windows all the way up to the nearly 14' ceilings. Additionally, there is an ability to divide the room in half, with the option of the second room for staging purposes. Those who are looking for a larger experience can even book a portion of the outdoor courtyard which connects to the Five Two A via staircase. Booking at Industry City provides the luxury of utilizing on-campus vendors for everything from catering with the many food vendors including Sahadi's and Hometown Bar-B-Que, place settings from Social Studies, invitations by Soho Letterpress or Mr. Boddington, photography by Susan Stripling, and even wedding dresses at The One Bridal. The space lends itself well to celebratory events from weddings to private parties, corporate and experiential events, art shows, photoshoots, and beyond. Electric capabilities include two 200amp camlock panels available for distribution. Dedicated electrical circuits are available along the perimeter and ceiling. The audio system is capable of playing as one room or three independent zones. Plus, there is flexible overhead lighting fixtures. Back of house prep areas will be made available until a 500 square foot prep kitchen with refrigeration, freezer, convention oven, worktables, and a double sink comes online later this year. There is additionally 700 square feet of storage on the floor above the venue, accessible by freight elevator for ease of loading. The space has 10 bathroom fixtures and dedicated suite with bathroom and changing area for the host or guest of honor. To book, guests can email events@industrycity. com.
