Meyer's Castle is situated just 12 miles from the city's border, or a 35-minute drive from downtown Chicago. A common misconception arises due to our Indiana location, leading many couples to believe it is far. In reality, from the second floor of our venue, you can see the skyline of downtown Chicago, positioning our estate much closer to the city than the majority of suburbs.

Meyer's Castle can accommodate from 30 to 350 guests, as we have multiple ballrooms with varying guest capacities and ceremony areas to choose from.

Meyer's Castle Estate is a picture-perfect playground. Our couples enjoy 16 acres of exquisitely manicured gardens, providing a breathtaking backdrop for creating incredible memories to be captured in your photo album. With our venue being a decoration in itself, minimal additional decor is needed. It offers complete privacy, is gated, and secluded from the outside world - truly a slice of Europe located just 12 miles away from Chicago. It's not your typical venue with just a beautiful ballroom. It encompasses acres of lush greenery that is neither a farm nor a public park.

No, Meyer's Castle hosts events all year long. The snowy grounds with the historic castle in the background is a perfect canvas for a Winter Wonderland themed event.

At Meyer’s Castle, the estate gardens typically look their absolute best during July, when the landscaping is in full bloom and at its lushest.

Designated Ballroom Rental, Set-Up, Clean-Up, Tables, Gold Chiavari Chairs, Classic White China, Classic Glassware, Silverware, Ivory Linens & Ivory Napkins. Colorful linens can be provided for an additional fee. Please note that our rental fee does not include food or liquor; these are priced per guest, starting at $95.00 per person.

Meyer's Castle exclusively provides in-house catering services. We do not permit outside catering. Please contact us to request an informational guide with menu options.

No. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased through Meyer's Castle, in accordance with our liquor license.

Clients are allowed to bring their dog for outdoor ceremonies, and outdoor receptions only. Client must book a licensed wedding pet attendant , who will be handling and assisting throughout the event, including on-leash exercising, hydrating, and pottying. Only Service Animals are allowed to the indoor portion of the Meyer’s Castle. No emotional support animals are permitted indoors.

No, our venue is fully insured, so our clients do not need to purchase additional insurance. However, each of your outside vendors must provide us with their own liability insurance.

Yes, Meyer's Castle offers free parking that can accommodate up to 350 guests. It is private, gated, and very convenient.

Yes, but our preferred vendor list is solely a recommendation of great vendors with whom we have had experience before, standing out among others based on their professional qualities and talent. You are free to bring your own insured vendors as well. Outside catering is not permitted.
