About Updike Farmstead
The barn at Updike Farmstead is more than 125 years old and rich with history.
Originally constructed in 1892, the large historic barn has been renovated to be a premier event space. With beautiful vaulted uplit rafters, and original hemlock beams dating from the early 1500’s, the barn represents the incredible craftsmanship of the American barn style. Large double barn doors open out onto a spacious private courtyard facing a sweep of cultivated farmland. An adjacent original sliding barn door opens to the front of the property, facing rustic outbuildings, a windmill, and a large lawn perfect for cocktail hour and yard games. The barn blends classic rustic charm with modern amenities which include four unisex climate controlled bathrooms, a kitchen, custom lighting and wi-fi.
