Sweet, whimsical, and romantic

I never thought I would be a wedding photographer. I started my professional career in Boulder, Colorado, riding on the backs of motorcycles, chasing professional cyclists through winding roads and epic climbs. I never thought I would find another career as exhilarating and rewarding, but I was wrong. I photographed weddings in Colorado, but it wasn’t until moving East to Charlottesville, Virginia, that I fell in love with them. I love the beauty of the flowers and the pretty clothes, but I love documenting the love between you and the complete joy of your best day ever.

A love of the mountains and  outdoor spaces

3 Cats couple travel from all over the world to celebrate the natural beauty of our Blue Ridge mountains and surrounding areas. They always want their engagement sessions to showcase their favorite corners of Charlottesville and Virginia!

A love of animals

My couples love animals and plants! They have all sorts of furry and not furry friends! Dogs, cats, bunnies, and horses are now part of our extended 3 Cats family!

Adventure and travel

Travel, adventure, exploration! Those are all hallmarks of 3 Cats couples, and we LOVE living vicariously through all of their adventures even after their wedding day!

Lifelong friends in the wedding party

Lifelong friends and family members hold notable roles in their day. They are honored with speeches filled with stories about their kind and generous acts. They adore their parents even if they don’t always agree with them.

3 Cats couples have serious big brains, and the 3 Cats family is filled with educators, doctors, nurses, MBAs, lawyers, and other experts.
