What I DoI love to document the intimate, exciting, unexpected moments that create a wedding in beautiful and true photographs. My experience as a photojournalist helps me find relaxed, lovely moments and shape authentic portraits. I bring a calm, joyful presence to the weddings I photograph - I'm happy to lend a hand or offer advice, but I also like to step back and watch your day unfold. My clients can reach me throughout the planning process with any questions they have, from ceremony timing to finding beautiful light to planning a first look. When the wedding day comes, we know each other and our plan so everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. Who I AmMy documentary photographs have appeared in New York Magazine, the New York Times, the Guardian, Slate and others. My first book, Go Photo! will be published by Aperture in June 2016. I live in Brooklyn with my husband, son and daughter. I graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography and Imaging, and I teach photography programs in New York City public schools.
