About Hancock Weddings
Nelson Hancock shoots weddings like an anthropologist shoots fashion. How's that? I was trained as an anthropologist and documentarian and I bring a low-key style to weddings. I work continuously without asking for much from my subjects - the guests. Along the way my photography career has expanded beyond weddings to fashion, portraiture and interiors and the technical precision of those fields have found their way into my wedding work too. I'm still shooting weddings - after 15 years - because I really enjoy working with people. I like figuring out families and collaborating with couples to document their day beautifully.
