Hi there, I'm Kristen Beinke and I'm a wedding + lifestyle photographer based in Santa Barbara, CA. I have a love for film, inspiring locations and natural light. I've been a professional photographer for over a decade and work with both film and digital mediums. I believe that timeless images are always in style, and my approach to photography is to direct while also capturing moments while they unfold. I have lived in Santa Barbara for 16 years and have worked with so many amazing wedding vendors in the area and beyond. My photography has taken me to beautiful places around the globe and I love the thrill that every photo shoot brings. When I'm not busy working, you can catch me at the beach with my two pups, Bear and Bailey. A few other facts about me: I love great sushi, I still think hand written notes are better than emails, I'm a magazine hoarder / fanatic and I'm really close with my family. I attended Brooks Institute of Photography, graduating in 2002 with a BA in commercial photography and I was lucky enough to spend my school days in the dark room with friends that I still work with today.
