Lavender & Twine's photographic style is a careful combination of candid photojournalism and fine art portraiture. We believe that there are parts of a wedding day that should be completely void of direction; captured in pure and organic earnest. Likewise, there are times when a bit of guidance is needed to create the most flattering portraits. We choose to provide our couples with loose direction rather than stiff posing so that the natural movement and emotion of the moment shines through. By striking this delicate balance we create photographs that are fresh, light-filled, and natural.
