Welcome! We're Cristy & Kevin - a husband and wife design and print team based in Denver, Colorado. As high school sweethearts, we know firsthand how special life's celebrations are and how important it is to commemorate them. Stationery allowed us to announce our wedding, our first home, and our daughter's birth in a personal, meaningful, and memorable way. We want to create pieces that do the same for you.
VISIONARY PIECES
After 10+ years working in production and design in both New York City and San Francisco, we founded Lucky Onion in 2001 with the passion to create pieces that are completely original and reflective of you and your story. To do that, we listen to your ideas and inspiration.

From there, using our vast knowledge and experience serving hundreds of couples, we create design concepts that elevate the aesthetic of your event. From place cards and bar signage to full scale escort card displays and one-of-a-kind items we fabricate in-house, we ensure the design, materials, and printing methods complement the overall vision for your celebration. And you'll never be left wondering what it will actually look like or if it will work in the space, because we'll go as far as creating 3-dimensional renderings to ensure it fits your venue both visually and spatially.

IMPACTFUL EXPERIENCE: Prior to stationery, Cristy mastered the art of design while pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design. With an emphasis on printing, branding, and way-finding design, she learned to communicate information beautifully and effectively. Not only that, but during her 18+ years working for brands like Liz Claiborne and American Heart Association, she learned how to create a lasting impression, manage many moving parts, and deliver on a deadline.

Kevin's BFA in Illustration helped him develop a wide range of artistic styles. And his former career of 6+ years as a product designer and developer taught him best practices to ensure quality, creativity, and professionalism in every facet of the work we do. Today, we bring all of that experience to designing and producing unique stationery for you. We'll guide you through every step of the process, including etiquette, family dynamics, and production, to ensure you feel heard and cared for throughout. And we'll ensure your guests also feel cared for when they receive the finished product.
