A Naples native, Margaret Short is the name, founder, and driving force behind Margaret Events (est. 2008). Our clients find that Margaret is exceptionally knowledgeable, superbly detail-oriented, and in equal measure charismatic and personable. Her aim is perfection, and she goes above and beyond to ensure that even the hosts feel like guests at their own events. Margaret’s work is seamless, and her smile contagious. From the first meeting to the closing notes of the night, Margaret and our team personally oversee the design, décor, food, wine, and more, translating concepts, from intimate gatherings to lavish celebrations, into a worry-free experience for you.

Elegance is a given, and a little laughter and fun are a must. We combine 25 plus years of extensive industry experience with a genuine passion for the work and the people. One of Margaret Events annual highlights being our work with the Naples Winter Wine Festival since 2001 - an organization that has raised over $269 million for local children's charities since its inception.

We enjoy the process of getting to know clients, and are proud to call many of the people we have worked with friends. Margaret Events is headquartered in Naples, Florida, and the majority of our events are local to Southwest Florida; however we have broad experience and success in planning events and destination celebrations in other markets as well.
