About OraBella Design Studio

It all started with a beautiful day in April 2009...our wedding day. We got married in Brooklyn Botanic Garden, in the Japanese Hill and Pond Garden, at the height of the Cherry Blossom Season. As much as I realized how much in love I was with my husband that day, I realized that flowers were a close second. Between my bouquet and the Cherry Blossoms that were dripping from their weeping branches, I became enamored with the idea of creating beautiful weddings and events for other people to enjoy. I just could not keep this beauty just to myself.

OraBella Design Studio was originally created as a textile design business in 2003. Incorporating my love for beautiful textures and designs in fabric, the floriculture branch was established in 2010. I attended the Brooklyn Botanic School for Floral Design in Brooklyn, New York and became a certified floral designer. Additionally, I am also certified in Sustainable Garden Design and working towards an Arborculture Certification both from the New York Botanical Garden School of Horticulture. While the studio continues to work with interiors, textile designs and custom picture framing, it is almost exclusively floristry at its finest.
