About Rachel Dee Photography

Rachel Dee grew up in SE MI. An athlete and a go-getter, she studied Business & Marketing at Huntington University. During college she traveled and went on mission trips, opening up her world of beauty, inspiration, and service to others. After college she followed her family's move to a West MI Lakeshore community. Later, marrying and moving to GR, she began working for a retirement community in East Grand Rapids, MI. It was there that she was given an errand. She was told, "Go pick up a camera for the office, and start to use it. We need some pictures for marketing. " Three little ones, and three Canon L series lenses later, this now stay-at-home Mom realized photography wasn't a work requirement anymore. It wasn't even a hobby. It was an exhilarating form of creativity, neatly knit together into the fabric of her delight.
