Why is it, that we find ourselves at some wedding ceremonies just waiting for the cocktail hour, while others have the ability to pull us in, move us in colossal ways, and call us to love more deeply because of our witnessing of it? I think the difference is found in the intention behind the ceremony.

As an officiant, I don’t have a set structure for how your ceremony will go, but we will work together to create something new. For some, this might look like a more classic or traditional ceremony, while for others, we might throw everything we know a traditional ceremony to be, out the window. However you and your partner dream of it, I want to help create a wedding ceremony that is uniquely yours. Your ceremony should be a reflection of your relationship, your story and your love, that causes all witnessing to walk away saying, “that was so THEM!”

I meet with couples face to face to plan out the perfect ceremony; adding personal touches that fit to each couple's unique style. I work with couples on their vows, give advice on readings, special rituals and identify particular language to use during the ceremony. I have worked with couples from all different faith traditions, backgrounds and beliefs. In my work, I help couples create connection and meaning in their lives to discover with them what they value and find most meaningful in their relationship. Working together is an opportunity to create something truly meaningful.
