Hello, and welcome to Samantha Broderick Photography! I am a Salt Lake City-based portrait + wedding photographer, specializing in lifestyle and natural-light photography. When chatting with clients, I'm drawn to those who aren't afraid to laugh a little (okay, a lot), who are all about the real, raw and sometimes weird moments, and who simply sprinkle a little goodness everywhere they go. When those three things come together, pure photo magic happens. And, that's the secret formula to making the photos I deliver my clients tug at the heart strings, friends. It's not because of the technical stuff (believe me that's half the battle), but because the photos have a meaning and purpose. They are pure, organic, and au natural. Do I sound like I'm describing the latest food trend yet?I attended Lebanon Valley College where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History, with a concentration in Photography. I am technically trained in film and digital, but primarily shoot digital for my weddings and portrait sessions. Although, I may sneak a few film or Instax shots into your shoot. I transitioned into weddings the summer of 2012 and shot over 35 weddings alongside Jeff Frandsen, who taught me the ropes of the business (with a little karaoke mixed in on the way to all of those weddings). The following summer, my husband and I moved cross-country, from Pennsylvania to Utah, where we currently reside with our sweet baby girl, Isla Quinn. She makes up about 95% of my Instagram since May of 2015. So, if chubby-cheeked babies are your thing, you will not be disappointed.
