Stylish and Hip Weddings began when a friend of Jenny MacFarlane asked her to photograph her wedding. She knew instantly she had found her calling. As an established editorial photographer with friends in the magazine world, requests for Jenny's unique brand of fun and fashionable wedding photography began rolling in. Realizing she had found a niche for fresh and genuine wedding photography, Jenny enlisted the help of highly accomplished photographers (and dear friends) Mariliana, Loreto and Amani, who joined the Stylish and Hip team. Since then, Stylish and Hip Weddings has expanded to include a full-time editor/retoucher, in-house book designer, uber-cool video editor and a studio manager. Because we all have such unique expertise we are able to offer you superb service and the individual attention you deserve. Each S&H photographer has a rich background and diverse interests (artisanal food, extensive foreign travel, surfing, craft beer, indie music, crafting), so we connect personally with our brides and grooms as well as their families and friends. We believe the key to a smooth and fun wedding day is communication and preparation. At Stylish and Hip Weddings, we have perfected pre-wedding prep with our couples. Armed with plenty of ideas and lots of tricks up our sleeves, we know you've got enough to think about when planning your wedding, so we are always thinking two steps ahead.
