I’m thrilled you found me—welcome! I’m Kate, the lead planner and owner here at The Coordination Company.

As a born empath, I always knew I wanted to serve people. I had a grandmother who was a nurse - and gravitating toward that line of work aligned with my servant's heart -  but it didn't take ling to realize I wa sfar too queasy to cut it in the medical feild. So, I took stick of my strengths (detail-oriented, insanely organized, relationship driven) and my interests (obsessed with any and all wedding related movies and shows, planned my 8th grade birthday to pure perfection) and realized my true calling to serve lied in helping couples celebrate their union.

My high school day dreams of becoming the real life version of Jennifer Lopez in the Wedding Planner led me to earn a bachelor's degree in the closest thing I could find to a wedding planning degree (hospitality management and entrepreneurship). I took on three planning internships throughout college and eventually began working for an amazing planner in my home state of Ohio

Through it all, though, this Ohio girl couldn't shake the feeling that the south - with all of it's storied character and stunning even settings - was calling my name. My boufriend soon had an opportunity to open a business in my dream locale of Charleston. It was the purest form of fate I've ever felt, and I ran right through that open foor and toward the slow, steady charm of life in the low country.

Today there is nothing I love more than merging my logistical acumen with my innovative eye for design to make your dream wedding a reality you and yours will relish in and relive for a lifeftime to come. More than anything, i want you to feel confident your vision is in the best possible hands, so you can enjoy your engagement and savor your celebration.
