Ellen’s passion for photography was ignited during her time as an environmental photojournalist – from the jungles Brazil to the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand and the peaks of the Himalaya in India.

Throughout her travels, she was deeply intrigued by the art of storytelling, whether it be through the written word or imagery, and the intricate details that come with watching a story unfold piece by piece.

Drawing on her background in photojournalism, Ellen’s photography style is heavily influenced by her editorial perspective and documentary approach. She artfully blends both film and digital mediums to capture the raw and unscripted moments of every wedding weekend. She creates a safe and intimate space in front of her lens, where clients can relax, be themselves and remain present in the moment.

Her unique ability to capture the genuine and authentic moments of a wedding has earned her numerous industry awards and her work has been featured in prestigious publications like Harper’s Bazaar, BRIDES, and Martha Stewart Weddings, among others.
