The Nouveau Romantics is a Denver-based wedding planning and design studio working with couples who want something personal, intentional, and well-considered. Not cookie-cutter. Not overdone.

Founded by Elizabeth McKellar, the studio is known for weddings that feel thoughtful and grounded, with just the right amount of edge. We work with couples who have strong instincts, busy lives, and a clear sense of what they don’t want, and who need a partner to help shape the rest.

Our role is part strategist, part creative partner, part steady presence. We help you make smart decisions, translate vague ideas into something cohesive, and build an experience that actually feels like you, whether that’s a celebration in Colorado, on private property, or somewhere farther from home.

We don’t chase trends or force a look. We focus on flow, atmosphere, and the guest experience, knowing when to push creatively, when to edit, and when less is more. Behind the scenes, we handle the logistics, coordination, and details that make the day feel effortless.
