Schultze and Weaver, one of the most distinguished architectural firms of their time, meticulously designed every detail and later went on to design the famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York.

The Town Club has a special connection to the history of Los Angeles, with members such as Henry Huntington of The Huntington Library and Harry Chandler, the publisher of the Los Angeles Times, choosing Jonathan Club as their home away from home.
