AwestrucKen Photography is a Chicago-area wedding photographer specializing in candid, photojournalistic wedding photography throughout Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin. Since 2018, I’ve documented weddings with a focus on genuine emotion, meaningful relationships, and the moments that make each celebration distinctly its own.

My approach is designed to let couples experience their wedding rather than spend the day performing for the camera. I photograph the big moments alongside the smaller ones—a parent’s reaction, laughter between friends, a quiet exchange, or something wonderful happening across the room that you never even saw.

When direction is needed, I provide it in a relaxed, natural way, especially for couples who may not feel completely comfortable in front of a camera. The result is a wedding gallery filled with beautiful portraits and authentic moments that preserves not only what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like to be there.
