We are Christy & James Tyler, a husband & wife wedding and lifestyle photography team based out of the beautiful city of Chicago! (But we happily travel nation & worldwide. . . and shoot weddings wherever our amazing clients take us!) We capture honest moments for down to earth and joy-filled people.

Christy started this crazy adventure, shooting her first wedding in 2008 after getting a degree in commercial photography in Chicago. James (who managed a camera store when they were introduced in 2007) joined the business officially in 2010, and they've been shooting weddings together full-time and loving it ever since!

At the core of how we approach photography is our innate urge to slow time down and to appreciate the beauty in each fleeting moment.

Our clients understand that the little moments in life are actually big moments. A subtle look between your parents... the touch of your loves’ hand on your back... or your friends’ heads rolling back in laughter. These moments quickly become our most cherished to look back on when life has changed or our loved ones are gone.

It is our goal to document life in all its fullness of emotions through artfully captured, honest, and joyful imagery for you & your loved ones to treasure for generations to come. (Oh - and let's have fun while we're doing it!)
