About Cottage Co Bakery

Hi there! I’m Tabatha and Cottage Co. Bakery is such a dream come true for me! Growing up, I always loved baking and decorating. If I wasn’t in the kitchen, I was probably watching Cupcake Wars or Cake Boss which definitely inspired me to come up with crazy cupcake flavors (that I totally wrote out in a little Hello Kitty notebook). Fast forward many years later, I finally found myself in a professional kitchen in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. At that time, I was just working up front; however, during down time, I was back in the kitchen learning the basics of decorating which also included fixing any mistakes that came through! I really enjoyed myself, but life happens and that job was short lived. I thought baking and decorating full time was a door that closed on me forever.

After being a stay at home mom to two wonderful little boys for awhile, in 2021 I decided it was time for me to get a job. I had reached out to a close friend who worked for my favorite coffeeshop/bakery and asked if they were hiring for a barista, sadly they were not. However, they were hiring for a full-time cake decorator and obviously I took it! And I had been there up until the day I moved from Oklahoma to Georgia! I owe so much of my success to Laurannae Baking Co. I grew and learned so much about baking and decorating there than I could ever dream of, and I was able to do so along side some great people who are now family. I knew that was something I wanted to create here in Georgia and so, Cottage Co. Bakery was born! I can’t wait to make your event beautiful and sweet!
