About Daniel Silbert

First and foremost, I am a husband and a father. My wife, Erin, son, Alfie, daughter, Millie and our three dogs, Archie, Betty and Richie are my source of inspiration. They are the reason that I am able to do what I love to do, and that is to photograph people in love.

My first art medium was music. I spent a decade touring with my band Steel Train before seamlessly transitioning into a camera. I was quickly taken over by the emotion and power a camera can hold and I became obsessed with the ability to capture moments. After I photographed my first wedding, I simply fell in love with capturing people in love.

It's truly a privilege to be invited to spend the most special and intimate of days with my clients and their inner circle. I'll be there to capture what is happening organically—never asking you to fabricate a reaction or emotion for my camera. I can't wait to tell your story.

My approach is very simple. I want your wedding day to be 100% about you and your partner. My goal is to capture genuine emotions and events. I will never ask you to put on your dress again or put your shoes on 3 times. I want you to experience the day as it is happening and not have any recollection of me being there. Even my portrait session is an organic experience where I encourage you and your partner to interact and feed off each other. My job is to be in the right place at the right time and capture your love.
