About Jennifer Lindberg Weddings

Jenn Lindberg began her career as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist whose work was published in the New York Times, Marie Claire, US News & World Report, among others. Her past projects include documenting courageous teens placing their babies for open adoption, the mentally retarded on Texas' Death Row, and AIDS orphans in Africa. Jenn received a prestigious first place "Picture of the Year" award from the National Press Photographers Association for her portrait of an orphan in Mozambique. In 2002, Jenn began photographing weddings full-time, developing an unobtrusive and intuitive approach that is prized by her clients. In 2006, Jim Pitts joined the JLW team; His very first wedding assignment was published on the Knot. com. With his creative eye and calm demeanor, he rapidly became Jenn's go-to partner for weddings and portraits. In 2008, Jim and Jenn officially became partners in both work and life, and Jenn was honored to receive the title of "Step-mom" of Jim's lovely teenaged daughter. Prior to joining JLW, Jim traveled extensively, working as a management consultant for clients like the U. S. Navy and ADM. After studying photography in college and having been his family's unofficial documentarian for years, Jim's dream of a creative career as a photographer finally came true. Together, Jenn and Jim's wedding imagery has been featured in Town and Country, Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Living Weddings, Modern Bride, and The Knot, and regularly appears on national wedding blogs. Jenn and Jim consider photographing each and every wedding a privilege. They regularly travel to locations within Texas, the US, and internationally to document their clients' weddings and family lives. Jenn and Jim also photograph annual reports and corporate portraiture. In 2012, they traveled to China to grow their family, finalizing the adoption of their two sweet children. Now, when Jenn and Jim aren't photographing together, you can find them lovingly restoring their 1885 Victorian home, catching up with their eldest daughter who was recently accepted to medical school, and teaching the kids to cook on an ancient but functional Merrit O'Keefe stove.
