Katherine Curnow is a highly sought-after Perth-based vocalist with over 20 years training and performance experience. An avid music lover of all genres, she specialises in soul, R&B, hip-hop, pop but has been known to delve into the world of french cabaret. After relocating to London, UK, in 2011, Katherine spent a lot of time soaking up the culture during her travels throughout the UK and Europe, which have ultimately influenced her musical style. Her versatility transcends just musical genres through her ability to sing in five languages (english, french, spanish, italian and tagalog) and she is constantly experimenting with new sounds and incorporating a lot of electronic elements into her performances. Her sultry and soulful vocals are drawn from her deep rooted love of soul, jazz, blues, R&B and hip hop music; heavily influenced by artists such as Donny Hathaway, D'angelo, Erykah Badu, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and Jojo. Katherine is currently fronting the sold out show "Hello: A tribute to Adele" at The Ellington Jazz Club, developing her first french cabaret show "Ca Ira" and working on her original music. She continues to perform regularly at private functions, weddings and venues such as The Ellington Jazz Club and previous venues and clients include Bush Hall (London), The Troubadour (London), Fremantle Football Club and most recently was the support act for 90's R&B boy group 112 for their 2015 Australian Tour at The Astor.
