About Rachel Solomon

Growing up, summers were spent alongside my mom who worked in product development and graphic design for a national catalog. The art room was a dream. It was there I freely explored and fell in love with art—from running my fingertips over the endless types of sample paper, to the wall of markers in every color imaginable, catalog markups and why products ended up on the cutting room floor, and the smell of the warm pages and fresh ink off the massive commercial printer. I not only got to see art, but truly feel it.

An Indiana girl from the start, I stayed for college where I explored the arts through theatre and music at Indiana University. This led to my big move to Los Angeles, and finally to beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. For ten successful years I worked in residential real estate selling new homes for the nation’s top builders. In the corporate world, clear communication is key, attention to detail is essential, and professionalism produces lasting relationships.

Eventually, I knew it was time to fill my life with creativity and artistry again. Having always been fascinated by photography and how a single impactful image can tell a captivating story, I dedicated myself to pursuing the art. Within two years I was able to quit my day job and find my way back to my creative roots by becoming a full time professional photographer.

For over a decade, I have had the incredible privilege of working with a wide array of fabulous clientele during the most important times in their lives. Together, we understand the value of both seeing and feeling the love of family, treasured milestones, and celebrating what makes each of us extraordinary.
