About Summer Alisabeth Photography

Summer of Summer Alisabeth Photography grew up in the heart of the midwest along the back roads of southeast Iowa with her seven brothers and two sisters. Her parents taught her and her siblings to love the Lord, work hard for their dreams, and to never give up on them. After picking up a toy camera one day when she was 8, she knew she wanted to become a wedding photographer. Summer Alisabeth started this business in the summer of 2014, right after her junior year of high school, and after a lot of determination and dedication, she was able to turn this wild dream into a reality!

Today, Summer Alisabeth STILL lives on the back roads pursuing her dream, but now Summer's dream is even more complete. She is married to her best friend, Lavon, and they've been together for 3.5 years. Summer Alisabeth shoots weddings and portrait sessions year round, and being able to dedicate all of her time to something she really loves is a huge blessing!
