Velada Events is a wedding & events planning company based out of Washington, DC, but also serving Virginia, Maryland, and our owner's hometown of Puerto Rico.

Geraldine, Owner & Lead Planner for Velada Events, is a career event planner, working on events both professionally and personally for 8+ years. Before that, she was at the perimeter of the wedding industry, first as a bridal stylist and second as a travel consultant specializing on honeymoons. With Velada Events, she now offer her extensive expertise to hosts & couples who want to create unique and elegant experiences while making the journey memorable.

At Velada, we focus on providing excellent service to our couples, ensuring no detail of your event is forgotten. Our goal is to plan events filled with special touches and intentionality, without leaving behind the crucial logistics that ensure a smooth and perfect day.
