Melissa Shaw is the founder and owner of Gather with Melissa Shaw - a boutique event firm based in New York. A daughter of immigrants and native of Northern California, Melissa graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Upon graduation, Melissa was drawn to the energy of New York City and moved with a suitcase and a dream. She immersed herself in the hustle of the big city and gained extensive experience executing corporate and non-profit events. Producing social events for the most influential of NYC, most recently as Director of Events at David Monn LLC, a luxury event production company, she obtained 14 years of experience and knowledge needed to succeed in this prestigious industry.
