87 and Smith, located in the DC area but servicing couples from Maryland to Virginia and anywhere a plane or train can take us. You'll quickly notice after watching a few of my films that they are different than a lot of other videographers out there and I'm intentional about that. There is a reason why we are continually considered one of the best among the top photographers and planners in the industry. A lot of it comes down to our approach which is authenticity, working minimally and being observant. These all work hand in hand with each other. Working minimally means we have less to worry about in terms of equipment which serves us the ability to focus on being observant with what is going on around us, searching for those authentic moments that are happening throughout the day, and thinking about composition and the artistry behind everything. Nothing is staged nor scripted, no acting and no re-do's. My approach is huge for photographers because it allows them to do what they need to do without me getting in their way or asking to take time away from them to set up shots. The goal for me is to blend into the background and be invisible. I want you and your guests to have the best experience possible on the wedding day and then delivering a creative way to remember your day for decades to come.
