Hi! We're the Canyon String Quartet. For more than a decade, members of our group have provided beautiful music for weddings and corporate events at some of the finest Utah venues: The Grand America Hotel, La Caille Restaurant, Log Haven Restaurant, Millcreek Inn, Park City Mountain Resort, St. Regis Deer Valley, Red Butte Garden, The Utah State Capitol, The Joseph Smith Memorial Building, Cactus and Tropicals, Memorial House at Memory Grove and many others. Past clients include, Kirton McConkie Law Firm, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, the BYU Law Society as well as countless happy brides. We pride ourselves on being prompt and accommodating. We want to be the easiest part of planning your event! We have a large library of music from which we are happy to help you select pieces that will set tone you want. Founded in 2016, we in the Canyon String Quartet have not only serviced many events but have performed several stand-alone chamber music concerts per year. We also try to give back to the community regularly. In 2018, we performed a benefit concert raising funds for students of the El Sistema strings program in Venezuela. The four of us have performed in over 30 states and countries as touring musicians; including touring with the Tabernacle Choir as members of the Orchestra at Temple Square. Current members of the quartet, Emily Rust, Molly Cowley, Nichelle Bowers and Sarah Arnesen, hold bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance from Brigham Young University-Idaho, Brigham Young University, Utah State University, University of Utah and University of Northern Iowa.
