Carlos Hernandez Photography is a destination fine art film wedding photographer based out of Portland Oregon.  He feels it is a true honor to be a part of the most memorable moments in so many people's lives. His desire as an artist is to create photos that are full of life and express beauty in an honest and organic nature. Tools such as film photography allow him to slow down and turn an eye to detail in order to document moments that are meaningful. Many don't know but Carlos Hernandez graduated from college as a civil engineer in 2007. Soon after, he became a licensed professional engineer, where he learned the importance of detail, precision, and organization. Carlos Hernandez has now worked as a photographer since 2010 and those engineering skill sets have transferred very well into his photography.

Carlos Hernandez is also very drawn to the disappearing value of the tangible, he is an advocate for printed art. Photos are meant to live outside of a hard drive, in a place that you can touch and feel the moments captured. Photos are meant to be printed!
