About Cinema of Poetry

Cinema of Poetry is a destination wedding filmmaking studio founded by Kostas Petsas and based in Athens, Greece, working across Greece, Italy, Europe and worldwide.

Kostas creates wedding films with a documentary sensibility and an arthouse influence, focusing on atmosphere, emotion, movement and the relationships that give each celebration its character. His approach is calm and unobtrusive, allowing moments to unfold naturally while shaping them into refined films that feel personal, intentional and lasting.

His work has received international recognition, including the Best Wedding Film in Europe Award and multiple Best International Wedding Videographer of the Year titles, alongside awards and selections from independent film festivals. He has also been invited to judge international filmmaking competitions, speak at industry conferences and teach professional workshops across Europe and Asia.

Cinema of Poetry works with couples planning destination weddings, multi-day celebrations and intimate events throughout Greece, Italy and beyond, creating films that preserve not only how a wedding looked, but how it felt.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes. Cinema of Poetry is based in Athens and works throughout Greece, Italy, Europe and worldwide.
Can you cover multi-day weddings?

Yes. Coverage can extend to welcome dinners, rehearsal dinners, boat trips, pool parties, farewell events and other parts of a multi-day celebration.
Do you offer ceremony and speeches films?

Yes. Documentary edits of the ceremony, speeches and other parts of the celebration can be included depending on the collection and your priorities.
Is aerial footage included?

Aerial footage is included whenever local regulations, venue restrictions, weather and the schedule allow. Specific moments may require a dedicated drone operator or additional permits.
Do you also offer photography?

Photography can be offered as an additional service for selected celebrations and is discussed individually as part of the proposal.
How far in advance should we book?

Availability varies by season and destination, so getting in touch once your date and location are confirmed is recommended.
