YOUR EXPERIENCE PLANNERI specialize in creating memories. Planning a party or an event, whether it's a fun Wedding, military homecoming, vacation, or a Corporate Event, isn't easy to do alone. That's why I decided to open DeWitt Planning. I help plan amazing events for people who love hosting, but don't have the time or expertise to hash out the details. I've been a professional Event Planner since 2015, with my combination of creativity and attention to detail making my services well renowned in the New England area. I am available worldwide. ABOUT THE PLANNERI've always had a deep passion for organizing and planning, and I believe that every special event deserves to be stunning. With this philosophy in mind I founded DeWitt Planning, and have since gained many valuable connections with industry-leading experts and vendors. I have worked at many leaders in the hospitality industry including Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI, Saybrook Point Inn in Saybrook, CT, Water's Edge Resort & Spa in Westbrook, CT, and Mohegan Sun. Through working at each of these properties, I was surrounded by amazing industry professionals, however one thing was missing. CREATIVITY! I was lacking an outlet for me to express all these ideas I had, but could not express. I never wanted to reach the point in my career where I fall out of love with planning. In opening DeWitt Planning I wanted to continuously challenge myself, overcome obstacles, and do things that I never even imagined could be possible. Every event, small or large, $100 or $100,000, is important to me because I genuinely love what I do. It still amazes me that something I enjoy this much can be "work," but I am definitely not going to complain!When I am not picking out event color palettes or decorating ballrooms, I find myself surrounded by amazing family, both fur & human. Spending time in nature, whether it be by the water or in the mountains, is a great enjoyment of mine. I have recently taken up calligraphy, and woodworking as hobbies of mine.
