When my husband and I got married, we decided to have our ceremony overlooking Beaver Lake in this cute little chapel in Eureka Springs. Little did we know, there was apparently a ladybug epidemic going on. So picture this. . . we're standing in front of our friends and family, in the middle of the officiant's charge to us as a couple. This gorgeous lake is our backdrop, and one of those ladybugs decides to land on my chest. Now, my husband and I are facing the congregation. Every single person can see *exactly* what's happening. I go to brush the little ladybug off, and she flies down. my. dress! Ha! We burst out laughing, he tries to go in after her (in front of everyone), and the entire congregation is practically rolling in the floor. My lord, it was hilarious!But here's the thing. I only have my memory of 'the ladybug incident'. That's right. The wedding videographers have no wedding video of their own. And that's why we do this. What I wouldn't give to be able to replay that scene, and see everyone's reaction, again and again. Sigh. To give you some background: We both work professionally in television. Have since 2001. With bachelor degrees and over 20 years combined experience in the field, we bring a very high level of training and education to our craft. With that said, I strongly believe it takes a woman's touch to truly capture your wedding day. I cry when you cry, I laugh with you, and I love living the moment with you. I am very sincere when I say Ò Someday, you'll wish you had more than a photograph.
