Our Story by Alex is a Caribbean based wedding photography studio founded by Alexandra Schaede, specializing in refined, editorial-meets-documentary wedding coverage across St Maarten, Anguilla, and St Barts.

Alex’s approach is rooted in storytelling first. She focuses on real moments, quiet in-betweens, and emotional connection, paired with clean composition and an elevated, timeless aesthetic. Rather than over-posing, she guides couples gently when needed, allowing the day to unfold naturally so they can stay present and fully immersed in the experience.

Being born and raised in the Caribbean gives Alex a deep understanding of island light, climate, and logistics. From shifting weather patterns to the best windows for soft, flattering light, she brings a local expertise that ensures seamless coverage and images that feel effortless, natural, and true to the setting.
