About Patrick Properties Hospitality Group
Curators of unforgettable moments across Downtown Charleston's most sought-after historical backdrops while preserving the beauty & rich character of each. Since 1997, PPHG has lovingly restored four landmark properties and estates, inspiring unparalleled backdrops for special events in Downtown Charleston. They include the 19th-century William Aiken House and majestic Lowndes Grove ó downtown Charleston's last great waterfront estate. PPHG's celebrated portfolio also showcases an Art Deco-style cinema, The American Theater; the picturesque River House at Lowndes Grove; and Parcel 32 on Upper King Street. As a company, PPHG has also pioneered the revitalization of Upper King Street: transforming its historic venues into valuable generators of revenue for the surrounding community has helped usher in the wave of new business and development currently changing the face of this downtown Charleston neighborhood. Patrick Properties hosts more than 500 events annually across its suite of properties, including the 2013 James Beard Foundation Awards nominations, Charleston Wine + Food Festival, Southern Foodways Alliance, and Chefs Collaborative National Sustainable Food Summit. Professional, personalized service and exceptional culinary experiences are hallmarks of our family-owned company, which has grown to more than 165 employees. Our team members are actively involved in many civic and charitable activities, and we are proud to support several non-profit organizations across community sectors that range from youth development to local arts and culture.
