About ScanIt Events

ScanIt Events is a QR-code event memory platform. Guests scan a printed QR code at a wedding or event and, with no app and no signup, share photos and written messages onto one live page the host keeps. It is designed for the moments a hired photographer misses: the candid shots from the tables, the notes people would have written if a card had been in front of them, the reactions as the night unfolds.

Setting up. A host creates an event page in about five minutes — event name, type, date, location, a cover photo, and a welcome message — and chooses what guests can do: share photos and messages, RSVP, open a registry link, or send a gift. Then they design their QR table card. The designer lets them pick a preset theme or set their own colors, borders, fonts, and welcome text, and the card downloads as a print-ready PDF or PNG. The same QR works on table cards, invitations, save-the-dates, a welcome sign, a roll-up banner, place cards, or a business card.

At the event. Guests point their camera at the code and the event page opens in their browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create, which keeps participation high across every age group. In a couple of taps they upload photos straight from their camera roll and type a message, then send. They can react to other posts with a heart, and they can mark their own submission private so only the host sees it. Everything appears on the live board in real time, and AI moderation screens messages and photos before they post, with anything flagged held for the host to review.

RSVP, registry, and gifts. Hosts can toggle on RSVP so guests confirm who is coming and how many; it closes 24 hours before the event starts. A registry link appears as a button on the page with a label the host chooses. Monetary gifts are sent through Stripe straight to the host's bank account, and guests are offered the option to cover the processing fee. Gifts are always optional for guests.

Afterward. From the dashboard, one click downloads every photo plus a text file of every message as a single ZIP — the host's to keep. Submissions close automatically 36 hours after the event ends (or earlier if the host chooses), the memories stay stored, and the event link stays live so guests who could not attend can still view the photos and messages.

Who it is for. Weddings, engagement parties, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, retirements, memorials, fundraisers, and corporate events. Unlimited guests are always included.

For event professionals. Planners, photographers, DJs, venues, and caterers can refer clients through the ScanIt partner program, or run events fully unbranded under their own name through the white-label plan.
