About The Caker
In 2010, at 21 years old, Jordan Rondel started The Caker, in Auckland, New Zealand. Being a self-taught baker, she developed a style of cake that really celebrates the beauty and deliciousness of home baking. Jordan's French grandparents instilled in her a respect for using real ingredients, and all of her cakes are based on this ethos. Alongside her cakeries in Auckland and Los Angeles, Jordan writes recipes and recipe books. She also chose some of her favourite recipes to turn into cake mixes. Jordan put all the same quality ingredients she use's on a daily basis inside of them so you end up with a true Caker cake.
So, welcome, I hope you will experience the joy that comes from cake in one way or another while you are here - that joy is the reason I became The Caker.
