Wedding Dog Sitter was founded in 2010 by Elisa Guidarelli. After unsuccessfully searching for someone to take care of her dogs on her wedding day, she realized that such a profession did not exist in Italy. This inspired her to embark on a new adventure, introducing an innovative, well-structured, and unique service. In doing so, she created an entirely new profession and category in Italy, raising awareness that dogs are truly part of the family!

Wedding Dog Sitter® quickly made a strong entrance into the market, achieving incredible success in no time. The service has been highly appreciated by couples across Italy—and even internationally, with requests coming from abroad. It has also gained significant media attention, appearing on major television programs and in national magazines.

It has become the go-to service for couples who have a dog and want to include them in their wedding, considering them a full-fledged member of the family.

“In 2010, I created a service born from my own personal need: having my dogs present on my wedding day. At the time, nothing like it existed in Italy or abroad, and to this day, I regret not being able to share that moment with Nico and Brie. So, I built a service that allows all couples who love their dogs as much as I do to have them by their side. In 20 years, when they look back at their wedding album, they’ll be able to say, ‘Our best friend was there with us!’
