The barn (built in 1844) is framed with massive hand hewn beams, secured with wooden pegs and decorated with an eclectic assortment of antiques, art and stained glass; the museum like presentation does not obstruct the casual, rustic mood of our events. The farmland surrounding the venue is tended by horse-drawn farm equipment (by my Amish neighbors) which, coupled with the country pond vista and the wildlife that it attracts, contributes a tranquil ambiance for your day. The gardens at Spring Hill are designed to resemble old English estate gardens. The garden walks and walls are constructed with granite cobblestone recovered from the 'old' streets of Baltimore; the plants have been selected to provide color, texture and interest in every season, and fairies, fountains, statuary and farm antiques hide in the garden foliage to entertain your guests. Every wedding brings its own, unique, personality to our venue, but two elements are guaranteed; Your Spring Hill Wedding will not be like any other wedding and it will be anything but "ordinary". Our maximum capacity is 210 guests.
