ABOUT SUSIESusie is passionate about hair and makeup. She has been in the industry for 11 years and has loved every minute. She prides herself on top of the line training and continued education. She received her training at the exclusive Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles and graduated at the top of her class, earning the top Hair Design Award. While attending school, she took makeup classes with Shiseido and MAC Cosmetics. After graduation she apprenticed at Jet Rhys Salon in San Diego, where she studied under top of the line hair and makeup artists who specialized in bridal and editorial work. After her apprenticeship, she worked at the prestigious Salon Cristophe in Beverly Hills and assisted Michael Haase, a world renowned hair and makeup artist who's clients include Kate Moss and other celebrities. While working at Salon Cristophe, she built her clientele and reputation. The elegant resort of Vail was her next calling, where she worked at Bliss Studio, considered the best salon in the area. There she further honed her skills in hair and makeup specializing in weddings and editorial work. Her work has been featured in The Vail/Beaver Creek Catalogue, Teen Vogue, Borrowed & Blue, and more. She now calls Maui home and continues her exceptional work, specializing in weddings, special events, and editorial work. She holds cosmetology licenses in California, Colorado, and Hawaii and is a Mac Pro Makeup Artist.
