At The Cliff Hotel & Spa in Negril, Jamaica, a destination wedding becomes something more personal than a ceremony and reception. It becomes a few unhurried days with the people you love, in a private oceanfront setting that is entirely yours. Set on 15 acres along the limestone cliffs of Jamaica's West End, The Cliff offers 33 rooms, suites and villas, including four private villas, surrounded by tropical gardens and open views of the Caribbean Sea.

Our preferred wedding is a three night exclusive resort buyout. Once the gates close, there are no other guests and no other weddings. Families settle into the villas, friends wake up a short walk from one another, and the celebration moves at the couple's pace rather than a hotel's schedule. We host one wedding at a time, and we usually welcome between 60 and 100 guests, a scale at which every guest feels known.

We do not begin with a standard package. Our team listens first, then shapes the weekend around the couple's vision: a ceremony on the clifftop lawn as the light softens over the sea, a long table dinner beneath string lights, a rehearsal dinner on the oceanfront deck of The Cliff Restaurant or by candlelight in our sea cave, and quiet mornings at KiYara Spa before the festivities begin. Ceremonies and receptions can be held on our two oceanfront lawns, the Palm Court, the restaurant terrace or within Villa Five for more intimate gatherings, with space for up to 200 guests on the grounds.

The Cliff is a member of Virtuoso, and our approach to hospitality is grounded in personal attention and discretion. Our Wedding & Events Manager, Mrs. Taneek James, works with each couple and their planner from the first conversation to the final farewell, coordinating marriage licenses, officiants, florals, photography, menus and every detail in between.

When the celebration ends, couples can slip away aboard The Cliff's own 100 foot yacht, available to reserve for a private honeymoon cruise along Jamaica's coastline and its many intimate bays and harbors.
