Ensure your fairytale celebration will never be forgotten! Guests will surely be enchanted while enveloped in the luxury of this 1909 “gilded age” architectural masterpiece. The Perry Belmont House is possibly the finest, intact example of a Beaux Arts style mansion in Washington, D.C.
The exterior decoration is reminiscent of 15th and 16th century French chateau architecture and an interior boasting double gray veined white marble staircase, soaring 60ft vaulted ceiling with an Ionic colonnade encircling balcony of wrought iron and brass railings.
Chandeliers throughout are gold gilt and hung with hand-carved rock crystal drops – some with amethyst as well. There are eleven fireplaces, most with hand-carved marble mantles. All the marble in the house was brought from Italy, all of the wood from Germany and all the metal fixtures from France.
There simply is no grander space in Washington, D.C. to Entertain. This history, architecture and priceless décor is unparalleled.
